A Chef-Led Restaurant in Wirksworth

No.5 Market Place is a chef-led restaurant in the heart of Wirksworth, serving seasonal food with global influence and local soul that celebrates flavour, produce and people.

We work closely with local growers, farmers and producers, cook with the seasons, and believe good food should feel welcoming, not intimidating.

We are open:

Wednesday – Saturday evenings 6pm - 8:30pm, offering à la carte dining, fixed price offers on Wednesday and Thursday and tasting menus on a Friday and Saturday night.

Saturday & Sunday Lunch We are open 12pm - 1:30pm for our lunch menu.

Sunday Brunch is served 10am - 12pm.

The food was delicious for both my meat eating husband and me as a vegetarian. I have become used to putting up with mediocre veggie options but here I was spoilt for choice. The decor was cosy and relaxing and all the staff were attentive and friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. Enough so you could visit several times a month. Congratulations to the chef and team. 10 out of 10. We shall most definitely be back.
